Hampshire Positive Behaviour Support Network

Positive Behaviour Support is an evidence based approach to reducing restrictive practices for people with learning disabilities. We would like to start a Hampshire Positive Behaviour Support Network that aims to improve the quality and availability of Positive Behaviour Support in Hampshire.

We would like to invite you to our initial meeting on 24th March 2016 at 1pm. The meeting will be held at Field House Barn, Chineham Lane, Basingstoke RG24 9LR (Sat Nav use postcode RG24 9GF – the turning is opposite Charlbury Lane, look for the Loddon sign).

The initial meeting will be to establish interest and address the following:

  • How often the Network should meet
  • Content of future meetings
  • Key membership of the network.

This meeting will be of particular interest to:

  • Families
  • People with learning disabilities
  • direct carers
  • Health professionals
  • People who commission adult and children services

This event is open to all but numbers are limited, so if you would like to attend please email Janet Bromley – enquiries@proact-scipr-uk.com to confirm your place
