Who we are
We are a Training and Consultancy Service which has evolved from the learning experiences gained by professionally and academically qualified practitioners during their career in delivering ‘the whole approach, supporting challenging individuals’ at The Loddon School.
Marion Cornick B.Ed MA (Ed) has been involved with the development of these pioneering techniques since the early 1960s in both education and care settings.
Marion has written and contributed to many texts on the subject and continues to actively support the BILD® accreditation process against the BILD® Code of Practice for the use of physical interventions – a guide for trainers and commissioners of training – 2006.
The Loddon Training & Consultancy is a division of The Loddon School Company of which Marion is Chair of Trustees.
Marion Cornick is also Managing Director of Liaise Loddon Limited .
Janet Bromley C.S.S. MSc (Tr) has over 25 years experience in the field of Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour. She is a qualified Social Worker and holds a Masters Degree in Training and Development. She has worked with both adults and children and joined The Loddon School in 1989. Janet is now a Principal PROACT-SCIPr-UK® Master Trainer and is responsible for the development and training in ‘the whole approach, supporting challenging individuals’ which is delivered through The Loddon Training & Consultancy.
Marion and Janet are the key people instrumental in establishing the Training and Consultancy Service.
